We will once again collaborate with a number of Danish brands on hosting international influencers, press, and buyers at Copenhagen Fashion Week. In addition to the strong lineup of Danish partners, we are happy to welcome the international online fashion destination NET-A-PORTER to the project.
The project consists of a two-day event schedule with the project’s partners By Malene Birger, Carcel, Designers Remix, GANNI, Georg Jensen x Sophie Bille Brahe, Holzweiler, NET-A-PORTER, Saks Potts, and Stine Goya. In addition to this, Mercedes-Benz is on board as a partner.
We are pleased to be able to present an ambitious schedule of the strongest Danish brands as well as a Norwegian brand, expanding on and elevating their previous hospitality programme to include a wider range of international influencers, buyers, and press profiles.
With the project, we continue a format where the guests will be escorted through a curated program of show and events, this time embracing a wider section of the official fashion week show schedule. The project aims to provide an international focus for its partners and support Copenhagen and its fashion week as an internationally attractive destination for fashion and design.
We are therefore very pleased to welcome the globally known e-commerce platform NET-A-PORTER as a big partner for the project.
As a partner, NET-A-PORTER underlines the importance of their relationship with the Scandinavian brands currently stocked on the site. By coming to Copenhagen, NET-A-PORTER celebrates their existing brand partners and builds bridges to new potential Danish partners.
As part of the partnership, we will be hosting a welcoming dining with NET-A-PORTER on the fashion week’s first day for existing brand partners, international influencers, and Danish members of press:
“Having truly loved attending Copenhagen Fashion Week with Social Zoo for the past few years, I am very excited to return in August for the Spring Summer 2019 shows. Pernille, Hannah and the team always have an incredible schedule of events to support local talent, both within the fashion industry and beyond. This season we have taken the Social Zoo partnership one step further, having worked together to host a very special NET-A-PORTER event on the opening day of Copenhagen Fashion Week.”
– Lisa Aiken, Fashion Retail Director, NET-A-PORTER
“We felt it important to once again contribute to the fashion week by leveraging on our global network to attract international profiles to Copenhagen. We feel a strong interest in Danish brands and Copenhagen Fashion Week in general from our international partners, and we are very pleased to be able to fly in such a strong group of guests in collaboration with our partners for this project. Last season, we were happy to experience a great support and interest from our influencer and press guests, and we look very much forward to hosting new guests this season who haven’t experienced Copenhagen Fashion Week yet.”
